Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it easy to compress the wet gas at low temperature by a method wherein wet gas containing moisture is mixed with methyl alcohol and low temperature gas from which moisture is removed is obtained.
CONSTITUTION: Freon which has been cooled in heat exchanger 7 is drawn as coolant into heat exchanger 8 from conduit 11. Air which has been drawn into the lower part of heat exchanger 8 is cooled by Freon, and moisture in air and methyl alcohol are condensed, and moisture dissolves into alcohol. After mist is separated by mist separator 12, air in which moisture is condensed becomes low-temperature air and is sucked into air compressor 14 from conduit 13, and thereby low-temperature suction-compression is operated.
