Abstract

Appareil de soudage au jet de plasma comportant des moyens pour alimenter un matériau de métal d'apport à partir d'un stock vers la soudure, une soupape de commande de débit de gaz qui règle le débit de gaz envoyé pour la formation du plasma, une alimentation électrique pour l'arc à plasma et des moyens pour coordonner les changements relatifs des débits de gaz, de courant de l'arc, et de l'alimentation en métal d'apport vers la soudure, et des moyens permettant d'augmenter la vitesse de l'avancement du métal d'apport à la fin d'une soudure par rapport à la vitesse d'alimentation qui a été maintenue pendant le reste de la soudure. Cet appareil convient notamment à la mise en oeuvre du procédé dit << trou de serrure >> qui permet de réaliser une soudure satisfaisante et convient particulièrement à la soudure autour de composants circulaires dans lesquels l'extrémité du cordon de soudure recouvre le début du même cordon.
