Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour le traitement d'un courant gazeux avec sorption de constituants de celui-ci. L'appareil comporte des moyens d'introduction d'un courant gazeux en direction pratiquement tangentielle, à l'extrémité inférieure du récipient, une sortie axiale de gaz à l'extrémité supérieure du récipient, des moyens d'introduction de la matière en particules dans le récipient, à son extrémité supérieure ou près de celle-ci, en vue d'un écoulement descendant à proximité de la périphérie du récipient, et un collecteur à filtre pour matière en particules au sommet du récipient ou en aval de la sortie de gaz, permettant de recueillir la matière en particules au sommet du récipient ou en aval de la sortie de gaz pour recueillir la matière en particules du gaz sortant L'invention est applicable notamment à l'élimination du fluorure d'hydrogène de gaz d'échappement.
