Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'affichage optique et un procédé pour fabriquer un revêtement réfléchissant pour un tel appareil. Dans un dispositif d'affichage comportant deux polariseurs 1, 4, deux plaques de support 2, 3, des électrodes 6, 7, une couche de cristal liquide 8, ainsi qu'un corps fluorescent 16 comportant des revêtements réfléchissants 11, 17 et une feuille absorbante 20, le revêtement réfléchissant 17 placé dans des encoches 15 est formé par une couche de vernis 12, une couche d'adhésif 14 et une couche diélectrique intercalaire 18 réalisant une réflexion sélective du point de vue de la fréquence, et déposé sous des températures et pressions élevées. Application notamment aux cellules d'affichage à cristal liquide à éclairage additionnel et/ou plaque fluorescente.
