Abstract

Dispositif à monter sur un canal reliant le carburateur à la tubulure d'admission d'un moteur à explosion pour introduire un appoint d'air dans le mélange. Il présente un trou central 5, de même grandeur que le canal 9, 10 et une série d'espaces d'air 4 débouchant sur le pourtour du trou 5 et qui rendent minimale au niveau de ce pourtour la section de passage offerte à l'air d'appoint. Chaque espace 4 présente, entre ses deux côtés opposés, une largeur inférieure à une valeur critique au-delà de laquelle l'air d'appoint engendrerait dans le mélange de la turbulence transversale. Ce dispositif améliore le rendement du moteur et réduit les teneurs des gaz d'échappement en oxyde de carbone et en hydrocarbures.
