Abstract

Dispositif à cellule qui est formée de plaques supportant du côté interne des électrodes formant un dessin et qui renferme un fluide opto-électronique, la plaque située à la face de la cellule étant formée de fibres optiques perpendiculaires à la surface d'affichage. Le fluide opto-électronique est une substance cholestérique à cristaux liquides qui utilise l'effet donneur-accepteur. La plaque située du côté de la face a un pouvoir séparateur optique de 5 à 100 lignes par mm et une ouverture numérique NA de 0,5 à 1,05 et un reflecteur est disposé du côté opposé à celui de l'observateur. Application en particulier aux montres-bracelets.
