Abstract
L'invention concerne un élément et une batterie d'accumulateurs au plomb cristallin. Les plaques positives et négatives sont fabriquées à partir de plaques supports en alliage de plomb et d'antimoine recouvertes d'un mélange de plomb et de cadmium. Ces plaques sont ensuite formées dans un bain électrolytique pour que le plomb de la couche Pb-Sd se transforme en bioxyde de plomb cristallin et polycristallin. Les plaques sont ensuite placées dans un bac contenant de l'acide sulfurique dilué et l'élément ainsi formé peut être chargé et déchargé. L'invention s'applique notamment à des batteries de grande capacité et à débit élevé, par exemple pour des véhicules électriques.The invention relates to a crystalline lead-acid storage cell and battery. Positive and negative plates are made from lead and antimony alloy backing plates coated with a mixture of lead and cadmium. These plates are then formed in an electrolytic bath so that the lead of the Pb-Sd layer is transformed into crystalline and polycrystalline lead dioxide. The plates are then placed in a tank containing dilute sulfuric acid and the element thus formed can be loaded and unloaded. The invention applies in particular to high capacity and high flow batteries, for example for electric vehicles.
