Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau photographique couleur comprenant : a. un support de couches; b. des couches d'émulsion d'halogénure d'argent sensibilisées différemment contenant des coupleurs chromogènes non diffusibles, dont deux au moins sont sensibles au rouge et de sensibilités différentes et au moins deux autres sensibles au vert et de sensibilités différentes, la plus sensible des couches sensibles au rouge et la plus sensible des couches sensibles au vert formant une unité de couches relativement plus sensible disposée plus loin du support que la moins sensible des couches sensibles au rouge et la moins sensible des couches sensibles au vert, et dont une couche au moins est sensible au bleu et disposée plus loin du support que chacune des couches d'émulsion sensibles au rouge et au vert; c. au moins une couche filtrante jaune disposée plus loin du support que chacune des couches d'émulsion d'halogénure d'argent sensibles au rouge ou au vert; et éventuellement d. d'autres couches non sensibles à la lumière. Dans le matériau selon l'invention, une couche d'émulsion d'halogènure d'argent supplémentaire contenant du chlorure de sensibilité relativement faible est disposée dans l'unité de couches relativement plus sensible entre la couche sensible au rouge et la couche sensible au vert, ladite couche d'émulsion d'halogénure d'argent de sensibilité relativement faible contenant un composé non diffusible capable de réagir avec les produits d'oxydation des développateurs chromogènes en libérant un inhibiteur de développement diffusible.
