Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention de phosphore rouge par conversion thermique de phosphore blanc. On injecte du phosphore blanc fondu dans un récipient de réaction 12 et sur un lit de particules de phosphore rouge finement divisées se trouvant dans ledit récipient afin de former un mélange de phosphore blanc et de phosphore rouge, le lit de particules étant préchauffé à une température supérieure à la température de conversion du phosphore blanc en phosphore rouge, on contrôle la chaleur engendrée par la conversion et on évacue les particules de phosphore rouge du récipient de réaction par le conduit 26.
