Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un frein à disque comprenant un étrier mobile par rapport à un organe support, des moyens de commande agissant directement sur un patin interne et, par réaction au travers de l'étrier, sur un patin externe pour assurer une mise en oeuvre du frein. Le patin externe comporte une patte et un rebord qui s'étendent en éloignement du disque dans une ouverture de l'étrier qui débouche vers l'extérieur du frein, et il est associé à l'étrier au moyen d'un ressort elliptique ouvert dont les extrémités pénètrent dans une fente formée dans le rebord, dont un bras transversal est reçu sous ladite patte, et dont deux autres bras sont reçus dans des glissières definies dans la dite ouverture. Application au freinage des véhicules automobiles.
