Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un procédé permettant la traversée d'une paroi ou d'un plafond par des éléments tels que des câbles électriques, des conduits, des tuyaux etc... b. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on fait usage d'un matelas présentant une résistance suffisante au feu, on recouvre au moins une des faces dudit matelas d'un mastic résistant au feu, on obture l'orifice précité par ledit matelas, on dispose contre au moins une face du matelas, pour chaque élément ou groupe d'éléments, une collerette en matière ignifuge, de manière à entourer l'élément ou groupe d'éléments et on remplit l'espace subsistant à l'intérieur de la collerette à l'aide d'une matière résistant au feu. c. Le procédé et la traversée réalisée conformément à l'invention. permettent de s'opposer efficacement pendant des temps exceptionnellement longs à la progression du feu.
