Abstract

Cette garniture ou coupelle pour maître-cylindre de dispositif de freinage présente sur l'extrémité de sa lèvre périphérique d'étanchéité extérieure, un bourrelet semi-circulaire situé un peu en retrait par rapport à l'arête vive extrême extérieure de cette lèvre. Ce bourrelet a pour fonction de rétracter la lèvre vers l'intérieur lorsque cette lèvre tend à s'extruder dans les orifices de compensation 50 et 56 du maître-cylindre au moment où l'on emmanche les pistons avec leurs garnitures dans l'alésage 14 du maître-cylindre. On évite ainsi que les arêtes vives formées aux débouchées des orifices 50 et 56 dans l'alésage 14 n'entaillent le bord de la lèvre des garnitures, ce qui nuit à l'étanchéité.
