Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un frein à bande du type comportant un ensemble de stators et de rotors associés à un élément tournant dans lequel une garniture de friction montée sur la courroie vient en engagement avec les deux parties d'un dispositif extensible axialement destiné à comprimer l'ensemble formé des stators et des rotors. L'invention a pour but d'éliminer le bruit et l'instabilité apparaissant lors de la mise en oeouvre dudit dispositif extensible. Application au freinage d'un élément tournant.
