Abstract

Feuillard en acier ayant une composition spéciale et procédé de laminage à chaud permettant d'obtenir un produit ayant une résistance mécanique élevée, se travaillant et se façonnant bien. Ce feuillard est caractérisé par une microstructure à l'état brut de laminage comprenant des îlots de martensite dure dispersés dans une matrice sensiblement continue de ferrite polygonale tendre et contenant comme composants essentiels de l'alliage entre environ 0,5 % et environ 11 % de carbone, entre environ 0,6 et 1,8 % de manganèse, entre environ 0,7 % et environ 1,2 % de silicium, entre environ 0,2 % et environ 0,4 % de molybdène, entre enbiron 0,3 et environ 0,9 % de chrome, jusqu'à environ 0,1% de vanadium, le reste étant constitué essentiellement de fer avec les impuretés usuelles et les résidus présents en quantités normales. Application à la fabrication de profilés pour l'industrie automobile, tels que pare-chocs, composants de roue, et composants similaire.
