Abstract

Procédé de préparation de l'acide méthacrylique, de son nitrile et de ses esters par réaction respectivement de l'acide propionique, de son nitrile et de ses esters avec le méthylal. On utilise comme catalyseurs dans la même opération une silice contenant un additif basique et catalyseur à base d'alumine et/ou un catalyseur contenant du bioxyde de titane. L'acide méthacrylique et ses dérivés fonctionnels ont une grosse importance industrielle, par exemple en tant que produits de départ monomères dans des polymérisations.
