Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour préparer des produits d'oxydation de monoalcoyl benzènes en oxydant un monoalcoyl benzène au moyen d'un gaz contenant de l'oxygène moléculaire. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un courant, qui contient des composés présents dans le mélange de réaction d'oxydation ou des dérivés de tels composés, est soumis à une réaction d'estérification avec un acide carboxylique. Ce procédé permet de préparer des produits tels que l'acide benzoïque, le benzaldéhyde, le benzoate de méthyle et l'alcool benzylique à l'état pur.
