Abstract

Le procédé qui fait l'objet de l'invention concerne la valorisation de déchets de catalyseurs contenant des composés métalliques fixés sur un support alumineux. Il s'applique plus particulièrement à la récupération de métaux tels que A1, Mo, V, Ni et Co contenus dans ces déchets. Il consiste à transformer les métaux à récupérer en chlorure volatils par carbochloration, puis à séparer les chlorures obtenus par voie sèche en les fixant successivement de façon sélective. La séparation de A1C13 , est faite par passage à travers des grains de NaC1 anhydre, celle de MoC1 5 est faite par passage à travers des grains de KC1 cristallisé. Le procédé s'applique en particulier au traitement des déchets de catalyseurs d'hydrocraquage ou d'hydrodésulfuration des pétroles.
