Abstract

Procédé de revêtement sélectif, par exemple d'or, sur du bronze phosphoreux. Le procédé comprend l'impression d'un masque sur le bronze phosphoreux, qui définit la zone à revêtir, la peinture par ectrodéposition des zones sans masque dans un bain électrolytique avec une peinture époxy-phénolique, la mise à l'étuve du matériau de façon que le revêtement époxy constitue une couche adhérant fortement et résistant aux substances chimiques, l'enlèvement à l'aide d'un solvant approprié du masque qui a été formé lors de la première étape, ce qui a pour effet mettre à nu le métal, puis le revêtement métallique par électro-déposition. Le revêtement en époxy peut être laissé in situ ou bien enlevé Application au revêtement de pièces métalliques avec des métaux précieux.
