Abstract

Moteur rotatif comportant un bâti fixe et un rotor relié à l'arbre d'entraînement, remarquable en ce que le rotor, ayant la forme générale d'un disque, est pourvu d'au moins un passage dont une ouverture (entrée) est située sur un côté du rotor et une seconde ouverture (sortie) est située sur l'autre côté dudit rotor; ladite première ouverture la donne sur une chambre d'admission d'air (ou autre gaz riche en oxygène), tandis que ladite seconde ouverture le aboutit dans une chambre de combustion; le passage P étant du type Venturi, sa section diminue jusqu'à un minimum, où du combustible est introduit, par exemple par aspiration à travers des trous pratiqués dans la paroi dudit passage, le mélange air-combustible étant par la suite achemine à travers une partie du passage P dont la section s'élargit progressivement; le mélange quitte le passage P par ladite deuxieme ouverture et pénètre dans une chambre de combustion où il est allumé par des moyens appropriés; la combustion rapide dans la chambre de combustion exerçant alors une force de réaction sur le rotor et lui confère un mouvement de rotation.
