Abstract

The disc brake for a railway vehicle has grip levers which pivot on a yoke. The yoke is held on a fixed support and is able to move with a pivot bearing which can rotate about an axis at right angles to the brake disc axis. Between the yoke and the support (4) is a radial guide stop. The stop faces (29, 30) are situated at right angles to the moving plane of the brake grip lever and a certain distance from the rotating axis (27). The yoke has a projection (28) with contact faces on its free end arranged radially relative to the rotating axis.
