CONSTITUTION:A pedal arm 4 and the operating arm 3 to which a brake cable 32 is connected are pivotally supported on the shaft 2 concentric to the sector teeth 11 and 12 of a base 1. The pin 42 projecting from the arm 4 is engaged with the elliptical hole 33 drilled in the circumferential direction on the operating arm 3. The arm 4 is urged counterclockwise by a spring 43. The latchet member 5 which can be engaged with the teeth 11 is pivotally installed at the other edge 34 of the operating arm 3, and a reversal mechanism 6 is installed. The reversal mechanism 6 consists of the main member 7 pivotally installed on the other edge part 34 and the pole member 8 pivotally installed on the main member 7.
