Abstract
Procédé perfectionné de fabrication de joints d'abrasion Il consiste : 1. à mélanger ensemble, en poids, de 60 à 80 % de poudre de silicium ayant une granulométrie moyenne comprise entre 25 et 200 microns, avec 20 à 40 % de fibres de carbone ayant un rapport de la longueur au diamètre de valeur moyenne comprise entre 1 et 20 et de 5 à 20 % d'un liant organique par rapport au poids du mélange, 2. à mettre en forme le mélange de 1. à une température allant jusqu'à 100 degrés C et sous une pression allant jusqu'à 210,9 kg/cm**2 pour produire une préforme et, 3. à mouler la préforme de 2. sous une pression réduite à une température allant jusqu'à 1 600 degrés C. Application aux turbines à gaz.
