Abstract

Procédé de production d'un laitier synthétique en granules sphéroïdaux creux pour la coulée en continu de l'acier. Le matériau de départ est broyé à un grand degré de finesse jusqu'à obtention d'une bouillie uniforme qui est atomisée dans une tour d'atomisation dans un courant d'air chaud, le produit obtenu est calciné et le matériau calciné est ultérieurement recouvert de composés de carbone en poudre. Application à l'amélioration de la coulée en continu de l'acier.
