Abstract

The clamping and holding shears are particularly for the removal of load-securing straps from pallets. A double-armed cutting head (20, 21) has a handle (2-4), expansion spring (5) and clamping jaws (12, 13), the head being coupled to one (2) of the handle arms by a distance tube (7). The outer jaw is coupled via a drag link (9) inside the tube to the other handle arm (4). The link passes through the inner jaw, which is coupled to a second tube (14), sliding in opposition to a spring (16). A knife is mounted on the side of the fixed part of the head, and works in conjunction with the outside of the outer jaw.
