Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour changer les cylindres d'une cage de laminage, comportant une machine de rechange mobile devant la cage de laminage en direction des axes des cylindres de travail et munie d'un mécanisme de démontage des cylindres. La machine de rechange est construite en forme d'un véhicule à portique avec une traverse s'étendant au moins sur le triple de la largeur de la série des cylindres à démonter, et cette traverse porte un élément suspendu mobile dans les deux directions de mouvement du produit à laminer, et l'élément mobile porte le mécanisme à démonter les cylindres. Utilisation par exemple pour démonter les cylindres de travail d'une cage de laminage à quatre cylindres.
