Abstract

Forage des formations de terrain. Le trépan comporte un corps fixé par un raccord fileté conique 6 à l'extremité inférieure du train de sonde avec des plats pour faciliter le montage et le démontage, et une tête de trépan 2 comportant une queue servant de tourillon, montée dans le corps pour permettre la rotation de la tête 2 qui comporte une face inférieure conique avec des dents en carbure de tungstène 3, la boue de forage étant projetée à travers un ajutage débouchant dans un évidement latéral du corps. Un tel trépan convient pour des forages très divers, par exemple dans du sable, des roches dures ou de l'argiles.
