Abstract

Le trépan selon l'invention est caractérisé par un corps de trépan 1 ayant un revêtement en matière dure 3 et un passage axial du fluide de forage, et des éléments de coupe 20 formes de particules de diamant liées par un métal, ces éléments de coupe étant portés par des supports 9 fixés dans la matière dure avec une distribution telle que toute la surface de la formation de terrain devant être forée soit attaquée par les éléments de coupe. Un trépan selon l'invention peut être utilisé pour des formations tendres ainsi que des formations dures.
