Abstract

Pompe centrifuge pour suspensions. Elle comprend un corps allongé qui contient plusieurs étages de pompage constitués par des enveloppes qui contiennent chacune une chambre dans laquelle se forme un tourbillon de suspension et dans laquelle est emboîté un déflecteur qui contient un rotor destiné à transmettre son mouvement de rotation par couplage hydraulique à la suspension et à l'entraîner dans un tourbillon. La force centrifuge fait monter chaque tourbillon par un canal tronconique dans l'étage immédiatement suivant Les matières solides que contient la suspension ne peuvent se déposer ni dans les paliers ni à des emplacements où elles risqueraient de colmater la pompe. Application à l'exploitation de formations contenant des sables asphaltés ou des minerais friables et qui sont traversées par un puits dans lequel la pompe peut être descendue.
