Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé exigeant une faible énergie pour la production d'un gaz riche en hydrogène. Ce procédé fait intervenir successivement un réformage primaire et un réformage secondaire. On utilise des unités de réformage à la vapeur en parallèle pour le réformage primaire de la charge hydrocarbonee, une partie de cette charge hydrocarbonée etant chauffée par de la chaleur radiante, dans un four de réformage à la vapeur, tandis qu'une autre partie de la charge hydrocarbonée est chauffée par échange thermique indirect avec l'effluent provenant de l'unité de réformage secondaire, dans un échangeur-réacteur. Un procédé de ce type est utilisable notamment pour la production d'ammoniac.
