Abstract

L'invention concerne un frein à disque de véhicule comprenant au moins une pièce à friction 158, 160 maintenue dans un étrier 112 et destinée à entrer en contact avec frottement contre la surface radiale 129, 129a d'un disque de freinage 18, et un dispositif d'application 81, 112, 118 d'une force à ladite pièce à friction afin d'augmenter ledit contact avec frottement pendant le freinage. Ce frein comporte un dispositif élastique 208, 208a qui écarte ledit dispositif d'application 81 d'une force de ladite garniture de frein, en l'absence de freinage. L'invention s'applique notamment aux freins de véhicules à semi-remorque.
