Abstract

Selon l'invention, on fait bouillir pendant 30 mn à 6 h à pression normale un sel de guanidine quelconque en solution dans un alcool aliphatique en C1 -C4 en présence d'un composé à réaction basique avec le dinitrile malonique, on refroidit à une température de 20 à 50 degrés C, on acidifie par l'acide acétique, on ajoute de l'eau en quantité correspondant à des proportions relatives de 0,5:1 à 4:1 par rapport au mélange et on isole le produit de réaction de manière connue en soi, la réaction étant effectuée en un seul stade opératoire sans isolement des produits intermédiaires. La 5-nitroso-2,4,6-triaminopyrimidine sert à préparer entre autres des médicaments et des colorants.
