Abstract

L'invention concerne la préparation d'une solution aqueuse d'urée par réaction de NH 3 et de CO2 par formation d'une solution d'urée que l'on soumet, dans une première zone, à un chauffage donnant un mélange gazeux et, dans une seconde zone, sous une pression de 1 à 25 kg/cm**2, le NH3 et le CO2 sont éliminés, en chauffant, de la solution d'urée contenant encore du carbamate, en sorte qu'on obtient une solution aqueuse d'urée pratiquement exempt de carbamate. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que : a. le mélange de la deuxième zone est traité par l'eau pour former une solution aqueuse de NH3 et CO2 contenant 65 à 96% en poids d'eau et un courant gazeux de CO2 , b. la solution est séparée en un courant aqueux exempt de NH3 et de CO2 et en un mélange gazeux contenant le NH3 , le H2 O et le reste du CO2 , c. le mélange gazeux obtenu est séparé en un courant gazeux de NH3 et en une solution aqueuse contenant du CO2 et du H2 O, d. on réalise les zones a, b et c du processus à pratiquement la même pression comprise entre 1 et 25 kg/cm**2. Ce procédé permet de réduire les frais de préparation d'urée.
