Abstract

Procédé pour préchauffer les parties coopérantes d'un ensemble de busette et de quenouille dans un recipient de manutention de métal liquide ayant une surface intérieure sensible à la chaleur ou pouvant être endommagée par la chaleur. On place à l'intérieur du récipient, autour de la busette et autour de l'extrémité inférieure de la quenouille adjacente à la busette, un écran thermique formant un volume pratiquement clos autour de l'extrémité inférieure de la quenouille, et on amène de la chaleur dans le volume situé à l'intérieur de l'écran. Application notamment à la coulée de l'acier.
