Abstract

Lampe électrique à décharge haute pression. Elle comprend une enveloppe qui contient une atmosphère constituée de mercure, de gaz rares et d'un ou plusieurs halogénures métalliques qui peuvent être vaporisés à la température de fonctionnement de la lampe. Une décharge électrique passe entre des électrodes de tungstene pendant le fonctionnement de la lampe. Ces électrodes comprennent un activateur qui est constitué, en pourcentage pondéral de 95 % à 100 % d'oxyde de scandium et de 0 à 5 % d'une ou plusieurs substances additionnelles comprenant l'oxyde d'yttrium, l'oxyde de thorium, des additifs inertes et des impuretés.
