Abstract

Procédé et dispositif pour sécher du tabac en feuilles jusqu'à un faible taux d'humidité résiduelle, selon un procédé dans lequel le tabac, transporté d'une manière continue, est chauffé et son chauffage est commandé en fonction d'une valeur de mesure de sa température. L'invention prévoit deux convoyeurs de séchage partiel 1 et 3 successifs. Chacun des séchoirs 2, 4 comporte un dispositif régulateur de température. Le capteur de mesure de température 63 du premier régulateur est raccordé aussi au dispositif de commande 87, 91, 44 d'apport de chaleur au second séchoir 4, de manière qu'en cas d'augmentation de température du tabac à la sortie du premier séchoir 2 l'apport de chaleur au second séchoir soit diminué et vice-versa.
