Abstract

L'invention concerne un détecteur de vibrations qui comporte un pendule, un dispositif de détection des oscillations du pendule et un dispositif d'amortissement. Une source lumineuse produit un faisceau lumineux parallèle qui est concentré sur un capteur constitué par plusieurs cellules photo-électriques. La cellule qui reçoit la lumiere dépend de la position du pendule et le signal électrique qu'elle produit permet ainsi de détecter les oscillations. L'invention s'applique notamment à la détection des composantes horizontales des tremblements de terre.
