Abstract

The receiver accommodates gas or liquid under pressure, particularly pressures between 3 and 100 bars, having an outlet control valve. It is formed by two moulded plastics shells (a, b), fixed together by welding or any other suitable method. The valve body (c) is integral with one of the shells. The shell incorporating the valve body can have a socket in which there is secured by any suitable means a metal or plastics bush (d) with a screwed bore or other means to accommodate equipment supplied by the receiver, while sealing is effected by a ring of resilient material such as rubber (e), trapped between the bush and the valve body.
