Abstract

Piston plongeur. Un piston selon l'invention comporte un corps 1 avec une projection 5 dont l'extrémité est filetée, un couvercle 2 comportant une projection 6 avec une partie taraudée pour sa fixation au corps, et un manchon 3 entre des épaulements 9 et 10 du corps et du bouchon, le corps et le couvercle étant en acier et le manchon 3 en carbure fritté pour résister à l'usure. Un jeu 8 est prévu entre le manchon et les parties correspondantes du corps et du couvercle et communique par un passage 7 avec l'extérieur afin que la matière comprimée dans le cylindre exerce une pression sur l'intérieur du manchon pour éviter sa déformation du fait de la pression extérieure. Convient, en particulier, pour un compresseur haute pression pour des matières plastiques et autres.
