Abstract

Peinture antifouling pour coques de navires comprenant un copolymère filmogène d'un ou de plusieurs sels triorganostanniques d'un acide carboxylique à insaturation oléfinique, la partie restante du copolymère étant formée de motifs d un ou de plusieurs comonomères à insaturation oléfinique, avec un composant pigmentaire. Cette peinture est caractérisée en ce que le copolymère comprend plus de 50 % et jusqu'à 80 % en poids de motifs du sel triorganostannique et le composant pigmentaire comprend un pigment métallifère insoluble dans l'eau ; pouvant réagir avec l'eau de mer en formant un composé de métal hydrosoluble, et un pigment qui ne réagit pas avec l'eau de mer et qui ne s'y dissout pas, ce dernier pigment représentant au moins 5 % du poids du composant pigmentaire total, la proportion du pigment métallifère capable de réagir avec l'eau de mer en formant un composé de métal hydrosoluble étant suffisante pour qu'une pellicule brute de la peinture devienne plus lisse dans de l'eau de mer en mouvement relatif.
