Abstract

Machine for enclosing documents between plastic sheets comprises a pair of rollers mounted in tangential compression inside a casing and motor driven to accept, pass and laminate a piece of e.g. paper enclosed between two sheets of transparent plastic coated with a cold-curing adhesive. Used for covering e.g. maps, menus, notices, etc. requiring protection from e.g. wet weather. Throughput is quicker than for systems using heat softened or heat cured adhesives, because no heat transfer or cooling is necessary.
