Abstract

Bag may contain a pre-determined dose of an infusible material, such as tea. At least one side (1) of the bag is sealed by means of a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The filter paper bag may be so sealed on two sides. The adhesive may be applied along the edges of the paper and the seams subsequently subjected to pressure. It may be applied as a continuous or discontinuous strip, and it may be sensitive to cold or hot pressing. The bag may be manufactured on conventional machinery employed in the printing trade, using elements to alternately apply the adhesive and stamping.
