Abstract

Séparateur à lit de fibres perfectionné. Le séparateur à lit de fibres 1 selon la présente invention permet de séparer un liquide à l'état particulaire d'un gaz et comporte, à sa partie inférieure, un moyen de déflecteur 14 pour le gaz qui circule disposé verticalement de telle sorte qu'une partie du lit de fibres est disposée en aval du déflecteur, à l'abri du courant de gaz; cette protection a pour effet, dans toute la partie protégée du lit de fibres, de réduire la vitesse dans le lit du gaz qui le traverse à une valeur inférieure à la vitesse provoquant le réentraînement du liquide à partir de bulles du liquide recueilli qui s'égoutte. Application à des séparateurs à lits de fibres verticaux, permettant de réduire ou d'éviter le réentraînement de gouttelettes à partir de bulles du liquide collecté par le courant gazeux circulant à travers le lit, rendant de tels séparateurs utilisables à des vitesses et/ou des charges d'aérosol du gaz auxquelles le réentraînement atteignait préalablement des niveaux inacceptables.
