Abstract

Procédé et appareillage pour fabriquer du tabac reconstitué, d'après lesquels une pâte liquide d'un matériau à base de tabac est amenée à un dépastilleur 14 à couronnes dentées dans lequel des paquets de fibres de ce matériau ont leur section réduite, après quoi la pâte est soumise à extraction en 15, ce qui sépare les composants hydrosolubles et les composants fibreux de la pâte, et l'on forme une bande de base, à partir des composants fibreux, suivant un processus utilisé en papeterie. La bande est avantageusement imprégnée des composants hydrosolubles séparés par l'extraction precitée, de préférence après qu'ils ont eté concentrés et soumis à un fort cisaillement pour reduire leur viscosité. L'extraction peut être réalisée dans un système à contre-courant comprenant plusieurs étages.
