Abstract

La présente invention concerne un coupleur optique multi-voies formant un composant d'un seul tenant adaptable sur le panneau avant d'un équipement Elle décrit un coupleur qui dans sa version préférentielle comporte une fibre optique unique centrale en forme de U faisant office de guide d'onde mélangeur. Les faces terminales, coplanaires, du guide central sont optiquement reliées aux fibres uniques ou aux faisceaux de fibres constituant les voies d'arrivée et de départ par deux ensembles de fibres uniques mélangeuses intermédiaires munies chacune d'un élément de connexion mécanique standard, détachable, tous ces éléments de connexion étant disposés dans un même plan. L'invention est utilisable dans les liaisons par fibres optiques et permet notamment les liaisons conversationnelles entre plusieurs terminaux.
