Abstract

Ce tuyau destiné au transport de fluide à température élevée sur des distances relativement longues, est du type à raccordement par emboîtement réciproque et compression radiale d'une garniture d'étanchéité Il comporte en combinaison une mousse 4 de matière plastique thermiquement isolante et relativement rigide, qui adhère d'une part au tuyau 1 et d'autre part à une chape 6 enroulée extérieurement sur elle, qui a une densité plus grande aux interfaces avec le tuyau et la chape que dans sa masse et qui recouvre la majeure partie du tuyau mais se termine à une certaine distance de chacune des extrémités de celui-ci par une surface inclinée 14 de forme tronconique ; des aspérités 8 d'ancrage sur la surface extérieure de la chape et une enveloppe 16 de protection de chacune des surfaces tronconiques de la mousse, qui est serrée à une extrémité par la chape et à l'autre par un collier 20 de fixation sur le tuyau et possède une élasticité suffisante pour permettre à la mousse de suivre la dilatation du tuyau alors que la chape reste immobilisez
