Abstract

Dans ce procédé on imprègne l'édifice ou l'élément d'édifice 1 exposé à l'atmosphère avec un produit de conservation du bois en opérant sous vide. La partie en bois 1 exposée de l'édifice ou de l'élément d'édifice est entourée par un gainage 2 étroitement ajusté, imperméable au fluide et les bords de ce gainage sont scellés pour former une enceinte sensiblement étanche. L'air et les autres fluides sont évacués des vides de ladite partie en bois de l'édifice ou de l'élément d'édifice et de l'intérieur de l'enceinte étanche et le produit de conservation du bois à l'état coulable peut pénétrer dans l'enceinte et les vides de ladite partie en bois de l'édifice ou de l'élément d'édifice jusqu'à ce que cette partie soit complètement imprégnée par le produit de conservation du bois. L'invention a pour but d'imprégner les poteaux télégraphiques avec de la créosote.
