Abstract

The cutting tool has a clamping holder (1) for a cutting tip (2) which can be secured in its cutting position by means of a clamping body (3) provided with a clamping claw (4) and a hollow cylindrical guide piece (5). The clamping body (3) is fastened to the clamping holder by a fastening screw (6) having a screw head (9) and passing with clearance through the clamping body. In order to ensure that the head (9) of the tightened fastening screw (6) always bears against the clamping body (3) on the side of the cutting tip, this clamping body is arranged with radial clearance in the clamping holder and has a stop surface, running essentially parallel to the axis of the fastening screw (6) and perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis, on its side remote from the clamping claw (4). This stop surface interacts with a stop surface arranged on the clamping holder on the side remote from the receiving point for the cutting tip.
