Abstract

Le frein comprend un tambour Il et deux mâchoires 12 et 13. Le frein comprend en outre un dispositif de réglage 24, 28, 29, 30, 32, 35 qui a pour rôle de régler le frein en fonction de l'usure des garnitures si le déplacement des mâchoires 12, 13, en cours de freinage avec le tambour 11 tournant dans le sens avant dépasse une valeur donnée, le déplacement des mâchoires 12, 13 n'ayant par contre aucune action sur ce dispositif de réglage d'usure dans les cas où, pendant le freinage, le tambour Il est fixe ou tourne en sens arrière. Application notamment aux freins pour remorques.
