Abstract

The aircraft fitting for carrying and releasing external stores comprises a casing (1) with supports (E, F) for eyebolts (A) attached to the store. The supports are vertically adjustable. The supports devices have pairs of hooks (8, 9) normally hanging open to allow passage of the store eyebolt but whose noses overlap when they are pushed forward. One hook (8) is pushed directly, by a roller (15) on a pivoted arm (16) actuated by a set of lockable linkages (18, 21, 24, 26). The other hook is pushed indirectly via interacting lugs at the top of both hooks. The hooks lock against a stop (14) and linkages are locked by a trip catch (27, 28) operated by another set of linkages (29, 30, 31).
