Abstract

The container has two oblong wire loops (9) at the top ends of the side faces (8). The pivoting door (1) is supported in these loops by hooks (4). The lower end of the door has attachments (6) by which it can be fixed in place on the container base (12). The door is opened by sliding it vertically upwards (A) to release the catches (6, 12), the hooks (4) moving within the loops (9). The door is then pivoted (B) until it lies flat on top of the container. The door can be locked in its open or closed position by conventional locking devices and the containers may be stacked with their doors open.
